Cover version.

The opening song from "In Praise of Learning" by Henry Cow / Slapp Happy (1975), also strongly influenced by (co-writer) Anthony Moore's own version, which appears on "Flying Doesn't Help" (1979).

The subtle variations in the chords and structures of the two 'definitive' versions have driven many of the creative decisions taken in my own version.

Alas, the subject matter never goes out of date.

Violence completes the partial mind.
